All-On-4 Implant
All-On-4 implant treatment is an advanced restorative solution designed for patients experiencing extensive tooth loss or complete edentulism. Traditional full-arch rehabilitations typically require eight to ten implants along with complex bone grafting procedures in cases of severe bone resorption. In contrast, this innovative technique allows the support of a full-arch fixed prosthesis using only four strategically positioned implants per jaw, offering a highly reliable and minimally invasive alternative for oral rehabilitation.
The anatomical foundation of this methodology relies on the precise angulation of the implants. While the two anterior implants are placed vertically, the two posterior implants are angled up to 45 degrees. This specific positioning maximizes the utilization of the available bone structure, avoiding critical anatomical entities such as the maxillary sinuses in the upper jaw and the mental nerve in the lower jaw. Consequently, the need for extensive bone augmentation, sinus lifting, or nerve repositioning surgeries is frequently minimized.
This treatment protocol is developed to provide patients with functional and aesthetic fixed restorations within a single clinical period. Following the surgical placement of the four implants, a temporary or permanent fixed prosthesis is securely attached to the implants, ensuring that patients do not experience a period without teeth during the osseointegration phase. The fixed nature of the restoration eliminates the stability issues, tissue irritation, and speech difficulties often associated with removable full dentures.
Furthermore, this streamlined clinical pathway offers significant logistical advantages, making it an ideal option for international patients or those with demanding schedules. By reducing the number of surgical interventions and minimizing the overall recovery period, the treatment limits the frequency of required clinical appointments. Patients can achieve comprehensive oral rehabilitation within a single planned travel itinerary, facilitating an efficient transition to long-term oral health and function.
